Nissan South Africa excitedly announced a refreshed Nissan Qashqai range and the arrival of the all-new NissanConnect 2.0 infotainment system on December 10, 2019.
The NissanConnect 2.0 infotainment system now allows you to connect and interact with your car like never before. NissanConnect is an advanced infotainment system which enhances the relationship between the driver and their vehicle through the seamless and intuitive integration of a smartphone with the Qashqai. With a host of features that make every day commuting and communicating easier than ever.
NissanConnect 2.0 comes standard with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as rear-view camera, which allows for safer, more confident parking and helps avoid unwanted scratches and dents on the rear bumper.
The new interface has a smooth, intuitive display, a redesigned fascia, customizable home-screens and widgets, as well as single line search. Single line search is a new functionality in the navigation system which speeds up and simplifies the process of finding a location. The 7” touch screen features a new button layout as well as a new processor for faster response that doesn’t compromise the operability of any currently active functions.
Also announced is the expansion of the NIM features on the Qashqai. These include Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Cross Traffic Alert.
And that’s not all. The Nissan Qashqai is also available with a CVT in the Tekna grade. Combining the smooth drive of the CVT and the luxury of the Tekna grade. It comes with a number of additional NIM features, including Intelligent Around View Monitor, Intelligent Moving Object Detection and On-Board Navigation.
The refreshed range now boasts a streamlined 5 model range, with NissanConnect 2.0 and NIM features as Standard from the Acenta grade upwards. Next level technology, armed with an array of intelligent technologies, the new Nissan Qashqai makes every trip a pleasure.
